Nature Write For Us – Nature has numerous meanings, synonymous with essence and defining something that characterizes any living being. Being derived from the term “nature,” it includes everything found in the natural world and its phenomena. This includes living things in general, including animals, rivers, changes in the weather, plants, mountains, and more.
As a result, it is prudent to affirm that Nature is everything that grows, develops, and takes place on planet Earth without man’s intervention. For this reason, when the human being alters Nature, he endangers his very existence.
Types of nature elements
physical elements
Also known as inanimate elements, they are part of Earth’s ecosystems. In other words, they are all those components that have an eternal existence governed by the laws of chemistry and physics. In turn, they give rise to four other elements :
- Fire– Found in Nature in fires, explosions, volcanic lava, heat from the sun, and bonfires. Likewise, the human body is found in the organism’s heat.
- Air: includes oxygen, wind, and breeze. It is a unique invisible element also found in the body in respiration.
- Earth is found in Nature more broadly, including mineral, plant, and animal species. The caves, stones, plants, flowers, roots, and the Earth form this element.
- Water: it is an element that is in lakes, oceans, rivers, and seas. It is also found in the human body in saliva, sweat, and blood.
living elements
As their name indicates, they include all those living beings that inhabit the planet, which are products of an evolutionary process. They are subject to the laws of survival and biology, which is why they are also known as animated elements. Consequently, they give rise to the different kingdoms in which Nature is divided, such as:
- Animalia Kingdom.
- Kingdom raises or vegetables.
- Fungi kingdom.
- Monera kingdom.
- Protist kingdom.
Types of Nature in forms of biodiversity
sensitive Nature
It comprises all those beings that depend on others to feed themselves, present mobility, have a fast metabolic process, respond to environmental stimuli, and react like animals. In turn, they are divided into different species, adapted to different habitats, including aquatic and terrestrial.
Human Nature
As its name indicates, it is the type of nature characteristic of humans since it integrates all those mental and emotional aspects that determine man’s behavior. Unlike other living beings, humans are aware of their existence and can modify their environment to their benefit.
vegetative Nature
It comprises living beings with little or limited capacity to respond to the stimuli they may encounter in the environment. They are characterized by not presenting mobility, having cellulosic walls, and producing food, a product of the photosynthetic process. As a result, its greatest exponents are plants.
The Five Kingdoms of Nature
Nature is made up of 5 kingdoms, established as the taxonomy aimed at classifying all forms of life on planet Earth, which are:
Kingdom Plantae
It is known as the plant kingdom, a group of all the plants that make up the planet. They are characterized by organisms able to produce food by synthesizing water and energy through sunlight, a process known as photosynthesis. Likewise, they are multicellular beings of the eukaryotic type and fulfill specific functions, such as fruits, flowers, leaves, branches, bark, stem, and roots.
Animalia Kingdom
The animal kingdom comprises more than 8.7 million species, although only 1.9 million have been identified. The animals can be found anywhere in the world and vary according to their size and habitat, so it is possible to find everything from small mites to gigantic whales. This species has the most incredible diversity and is are eukaryotic, multicellular organism.
Unlike plants, animals can move independently, have limbs, and depend on other living things for the nutrients they need to survive.
fungi kingdom
Also known as the kingdom of fungi, these are eukaryotic, multicellular organisms made of chitin. This material creates a hard outer shell for them, which is tangible and visible. They are not part of the plant kingdom because they cannot make food, so they depend on other organisms to obtain nutrients.
However, instead of eating other living things, they feed by absorbing the components they need from them. As a result, some fungi feed on the soil or adhere to different living and dead materials to sustain themselves.
Kingdom Monera or Prokaryote
These are organisms that do not have a cell nucleus. So, the species in this group only have a cell with essential components. They are microscopic and housed in the air and other elements, bacteria being a clear example of these.
Protist kingdom
At present, the distinctions of this kingdom are not fully defined, so any species that do not fit the standards of the four domains previously exposed falls into this group. In the Protista, there are both multicellular and unicellular organisms. Its main characteristic is that they have a defined cell nucleus and are primarily green, with algae, amoebas, and flagella as examples.
Importance
Nature is of the utmost importance for the preservation of planet Earth. Regardless of the place, be it rural or urban, it is essential for the well-being of human beings since it provides different critical components in daily life, such as food, air, water, and energy. It also offers spiritual, psychological, and recreational benefits.
Nature constitutes biodiversity, so the different ecosystems and species that inhabit it are also essential for the development of humanity and planet Earth. So, any action of man that has repercussions against it indisputably affects human societies.
Conservation and protection
Nature conservation and protection is an essential task for humanity, which allows for preserving biodiversity. Economic activities are necessary for man’s survival, which depends mainly on the state of the various ecosystems.
As a result, conservation and protection refers to actions by humanity to keep ecosystems intact and avoid the exploitation of natural wealth to guarantee sustainability for current and future generations. Therefore, it is recommended to take into account a series of environmental conservation measures :
- Avoid the acquisition and use of non-recyclable and non-biodegradable items.
- Evaluate the environmental impact of specific industrial processes.
- Encourage Environmental Education.
- Make rational use of water and electricity.
Human Nature
When talking about the Nature of man, mention is made of a unique characteristic or essence of human beings closely related to psychological and emotional aspects, such as the way of thinking, acting, and feeling. In the same way, it is a term also used to refer to the character or personality that an individual can present; for example, “Luis’s nature is to be cheerful.”
Philosophically, human beings share a selection of constitutive traits. For Plato, the essence of man, his Nature, comprises an immortal soul that can obtain knowledge.
man impact
The impact of man refers to any activity that the human being exerts on Nature, causing an environmental shock, which can be positive or negative. However, in most cases, it is harmful, generating contamination and degradation of biodiversity. These are directly related to:
- The increase of urban areas.
- Constant production of waste.
- Exaggerated consumption of material goods.
- Irresponsible use of resources.
These environmental impacts are responsible for causing the reduction of water sources, extinction of species, floods, destruction of habitats, acid rains, climate change, and more, which directly affect the quality of life of humanity.
Nature is a broad term encompassing the different ecosystems that reside on Earth and its species. Therefore, knowing how to preserve it and the negative impact of man on it is of the utmost importance.
